Winter Fun with Ideal Entertainment DJ’s
It’s that time after Christmas and New Year’s where most DJ companies complain about a lull in entertainment bookings. That’s definitely not the case with Ideal Entertainment. We maintain a consistent flow of parties all year long. January and February feature a number of different parties from company winter parties (yes they have them as late as February) and your usual Sweet 16′s and Birthday Parties.

The DJ industry is chock-full of fly-by-night DJ companies run by 18-21 year olds that say their the best on Long Island. In fact, most of those are the ones that charge next to nothing and as a result, you get exactly what you pay for. These are not companies. They are kids that are looking to coast through your party until they get paid. They don’t focus on client needs, and in fact, they usually over-promise and under-deliver. The biggest channel a company can promote through is the party itself. We invest in online advertising, and radio commercials on occasion, but our bread is buttered when we perform on an event. The people that attend your event are the future of our business.

Music plays a big part, but there’s much more to a successful event. Establishing rapport with your guests is key as well. They need to feel comfortable and energized and willing to let loose on the dance floor, and that’s where the entertainment comes into play.
